CIRCUIT LE RONDET

An undulating rural route through the fields of the Harsault commune. Yellow ring markers all along the route Start: Place de la mairie, Harsault With your back to the town hall, turn left, then take the path leading uphill to the right. At the cemetery, turn right, then left, past the church. Continue straight ahead to join the Route de Hautmougey. At the give-way sign, turn right. Keep following the road, then turn left, then right to stay on the road. You'll come to a gravel path, go straight on to join the forest. Follow the path, ignoring the tracks on either side. Continue to follow the yellow ring markings and turn right to join the fields. Follow the gravel path to the farm. Turn right onto the uphill road and continue straight ahead across the fields. When you reach a footpath, continue straight ahead until you reach a road, which you cross to go straight ahead. At the crossroads, after going downhill, take the road on the right to reach the commune of Harsault. Turn left, then right beside a ruin. On your right, you'll see palis (flat stones made of sandstone and set vertically into the ground. They are found mainly in the Vôge-les-Bains area, and were once used to demarcate gardens, plots of land around dwellings or the right-of-way of roads.) At the bottom of the path, turn right onto the road, then right again at the stop sign. Follow the road and fork right, then left, to reach the starting point.
