The commune of Hablainville owns 2 concrete Observatories, dating from the 1st World War, located on the two high points which dominate the village The observatory located in the west was built between March and June 1917 by the 4/51 engineer company of the 7th Infantry Division. When the company was relieved, it was replaced by Company 7/63 of the 10th Colonial Infantry Division, which finished this first structure and then built a second one Located to the east of the village, this second observatory was built between June and August 1917, one kilometer from the first observation site. Only one of the two structures was classified as a historical monument on January 27, 1922.
