This remarkable site is located at an altitude of 600 m, just at the top of the Haut-Jacques pass (between Bruyères and Saint-Dié). The Arboretum is composed of a Nordmann fir plantation that came into being in the aftermath of the Second World War. Over the decades, exotic American softwoods and a collection of hardwoods have been added. A botanical walking trail has been laid out and allows the discovery of the local flora or more exotic species.
