CIRCUIT DU CHAMP DE BATAILLE DE LA CHAPELOTTE

From Raon l'Etape, take the direction of Celles sur Plaine (D392A). After the village, turn left towards Badonviller (D992). Parking at the Col de la Chapelotte On foot, take the path that passes to the left of La Chapelle. After 200m, follow the left track at the crossroads (yellow ring). You cross the battlefield. At the next crossroads, follow on the right the path (green rectangle) which brings you near the top of the rocks. Stay on this path; you will see German tombstones on your right. At the power line, you will see on your right the rocks of the Haut des Planches, German observatory and high place of the Resistance. Continue on the path now marked with the blue cross which will lead you to the Roches Ganaux, the end of the circuit. Return by the same path, blue cross and green rectangle The twin rocks dominate the last part of the path Guided and free hikes possible on request, from April to October.
