The Erbsenfels rock is one of the most beautiful natural sights in the Pays de Bitche. This magnificent pink sandstone rock is also known as the Arch Rock because of the exceptional character of its erosion: an arch of several metres in its centre. Access to the rock is from the Hanau pond, via the marked trail "green ring" (7 km loop) or from the car park of the Waldeck pond, follow the GR532. Warning: this natural site is fragile and protected due to the nesting of protected birds such as the Great Raven or the Peregrine Falcon. Please do not park there for long periods of time in order to guarantee peace and quiet.
