The Lieschbach Pond in Philippsburg is a small, confidential peat bog pond, where it is nice to take a quiet walk. Located away from the village of Philippsbourg, its nearly 2 km long perimeter offers a panorama of rare beauty over the forest and the surrounding rocks. Thanks to a small wooden pontoon intended to preserve its fragile flora, you will be able to observe dragonflies very close to the water This pond is protected, classified as a Nature Reserve. Swimming or canoeing are not allowed there. The pond can be reached on foot via the Hanau Pond by following the path marked Blue Cross (35 min) in the direction of Falkenstein Castle.
