L'ETANG DE HANAU

The Hanau pond, in the heart of the Vosges du Nord Regional Natural Park, is a tourist site very much appreciated by visitors, who visit it as much for the relaxation it provides as for its surrounding natural resources. Dominated by the ruins of the medieval castle of Waldeck, the Hanau pond covers 18 hectares. On site, you can find a hotel, two restaurants, a camping site**, a reception and tourist information point, a botanical trail, picnic areas and numerous marked hiking trails.
