The Hanau pond, in the heart of the Vosges du Nord Regional Nature Park, is a tourist site much appreciated by visitors, who come here as much for the relaxation it provides as for its surrounding natural riches. Dominated by the ruins of the medieval castle of Waldeck, the pond of Hanau extends over 18 hectares.
