He also wishes to create the link between the stone of this region, which represents its biodiversity, and the work of the sculptor's hand as well as the passion for art that unites these communes. Presentation of the artist and his approach: Aurélien Boussin, a graduate in heritage restoration, participates in the renovation of several large buildings in France. In 2011, he moved to the foot of the Carrara marble quarries in Tuscany, and was inspired by his architectural experience in heritage restoration to create his works and develop his own style on this prestigious material. Description : UNIT IT (Châteaupanne limestone) Aurélien Boussin?s golden link represents the union of Mauges-sur-Loire villages. Doing so, the artist creates a link between the limestone symbolizing the region diversity, the sculptor?s handwork and the love of art common to the villages. Presentation of the artist and his/her approach : Aurélien Boussin is graduated in heritage restoration. He took part in French large buildings restoration. As soon as 2011, he settled near the marble quarries in Carrara (Tuscany) and used his experience in heritage restoration to create his works and develop his own style from this prestigious material.
