It symbolizes all the aquatic life which circulates by the geological road of which Montjean is one of the stations of choice. Presentation of the artist and his approach: Coming from a rural environment, Marc Georgeault was born in Brittany in 1983. A trained sculptor, he likes to work in contact with nature and the materials it provides. His artistic approach, combining aestheticism and technical challenges, focuses on the transmission of subtle messages to the public, while leaving a large part to subjectivity and emotion. Nature and the ethical values of the sculptor hold a great place in her creative work. Description : A LOIRE FISH (sequoia wood and stainless steel)This carving is one piece of the ?interspersed? collection and was made during the 2012 symposium. It symbolizes aquatic life running through geological roads: Montjean-sur-Loire is one of them, and a very special place indeed. Presentation of the artist and his /her approach : Marc Georgeault was born in a rural environment in 1983. Trained as a sculptor, he enjoys being in contact with nature and the matters it offers. His artistic approach combines aesthetics challenges with technical ones and aims at sending subtle messages to the public, while leaving room to subjectivity and emotion.
