Artiste /Artist : Jean-Claude Lambert Date création/Creation time : 2014 Matériaux/Materials : Limestone from Châteaupanne Description : The Loire River, luminous, lets its light gush through the stone, as if to recall the beginning of the universe, in this limestone of the primary era of the Devonian. Presentation of the artist and his approach: Jean-Claude Lambert from Mouzeill studied at the Beaux-Arts of Rennes and Nantes. After working as a construction worker, he devoted himself to sculpture, both miniature and monumental. His artistic approach is at first anthropomorphic and then takes on a more cosmic character. The artist sculptor has created a park of monumental sculptures in Mouzeil (44), which has become a real open-air art gallery of fourteen hectares. Description : TRANSPARENCY (Châteaupanne limestone) The river Loire lets its luminous light flash on out of the Devonian primary era limestone, as if to remind us of the beginning of universe. Presentation of the artist and his/her approach : Jean-Claude Lambert, from Mouzeil in the Loire-Atlantique department, studied at Rennes and Nantes Art Schools. After working as a construction worker, he began making miniature as well as monumental sculptures. At first, he had an anthropomorphic approach; then this approach took a more cosmic aspect. He has created the monumental sculpture park in Mouzeil, which has become a 14 hectares open-air gallery.
