SENTIERS À LA CROISÉE DES CHEMINS : CIRCUIT 21 - SENTIER DES HAUTS DE HAROL

Paths at the Crossroads : Circuit 21 - Path of the heights of Harol Distance : 13,5 km Average time : 4h10 Yellow markings (round) FFRandonnée Path and hike sheet produced by the French Federation of Pedestrian Hikes Four loops to discover the different environments such as the meadow and its hedgerows, the forest and the waterways of the Gitte. Following the example of the Royal Milan, present on this territory, come and contemplate, from the viewpoint of Harol, the ecological continuities (hedge and watercourse for example) representing reservoirs of biodiversity. A sheltered break is possible at two places along the route as indicated on the map. 1/ Take the road that runs alongside the cemetery. 2/ At the crossroads, turn left for about 120 m and then right onto a carriageway which becomes a path through the bocage. At the end of the road, turn right and reach Adoncourt, which you cross by the street called "chemin de ville". At the main road, turn right onto the rue de l'École for about 50 m. 3/ Go up to the left on a path and quickly find the fields. At the end, go left and pass in front of some farm sheds. 4/ Turn right onto a track which, after two sharp bends, crosses an old railroad line; follow it to the right. In Dommartin-aux-Bois, cut the road and find the path slightly off to the left. In the Bois de l'Ours, cut off a second road by making a left-right turn again. 5/ Leave the old railroad for a path on the right. Join Longeroye by the "allée de la Gare" and end up in front of the post office. Turn right onto the D4, then the D4D to return to Harol. At the cemetery, turn left to reach the starting point.
