GITE RURAL DE CAVALADETTE

Old renovated farmhouse, located on the Causse Méjean South, 15 km from Florac (25 mn by car), in the heart of the site "Causses and Cevennes" classified as World Heritage by UNESCO and in the Cevennes National Park. At the crossroads of the Gorges du Tarn, Gorges de la Jonte, Mont-Lozère, Mont-Aigoual, this place will seduce you with its wide open spaces, its fauna, its flora and the various activities that can be practiced there. You will have the possibility to visit the caussenarde farm, the Aven Armand, the cave of Dargilan, the belvedere of the vultures, the horses of Prezwalski, to bathe in the Gorges of Tarn or Jonte and to practise the via ferrata which overhangs Florac During the summer season, a market of local products is held every Thursday and Sunday morning in Florac. You will also find local shops, as well as two supermarkets.
