Rémelfing, a village and fiefdom under the Sarreguemines castellery, was founded around 800. In the middle of the 18th century, it belonged entirely to the Hausen family. In 1891, the industrialist Edouard Jaunez became the owner of the castle and transformed it into a fashionable castle. To see: - The castle, totally redesigned in the 19th century, was saved from destruction and now houses the town hall. - Saint Pierre Church (1853).
