CIRCUIT VTT N°3 ROUGE - REMIREMONT VTT

MTB track n°3 Red - 18 km - Difference in altitude 500 m Starting coordinates : N 47 59'10.6" E 006 35'40.9 Good physical and technical level. Loop circuit in the forest of Hérival starting from the Chalet des Gardes. Start on a wide path in the Bois de Sapenois, then a fast single track to the Chalet de chasse. From there the climb begins between tracks and small paths typical of the Vosges forest to reach the Pierre Nicole (723 m). Crossing the Tête des Champs Carré between tracks and small roads, you can admire the magnificent views of Girmont-Val-d'Ajol. Technical descent of the Vargottes then connection by the road to the Chalet de l'Empereur. Beginning of the ascent by a nice path along the magnificent wild stream of Géhard. Arrival at the Cascade du Géhard, jewel of the Hérival massif. Connection by road and long track to the Fontaine des Belges. Arrival at the summit at the Tête des Mozets (732 m) and its small paths lined with brimbelliers. Descent to the Croisette d'Hérival. Many very playful single tracks will take you to the finish.
