In La Rochelle, he teaches organ and harpsichord at the conservatory, and is titular organist of the great Merklin organ at Saint-Louis Cathedral. In 2021, Didier Ledoux took part in the inaugural cycle of the Fossaert organ at Vouvant. Mathilde Milhères: Born into a family of organists, Mathilde Milhères turned to singing at the Conservatoire de Châtellerault, then in Fabrice Maurin?s class in La Rochelle and at the Conservatoire de Cergy-Pontoise. The Été Musical collective in Vouneuil-sur-Vienne gave her her first experience with Suzanne in Les Noces de Figaro, Servilia in La Clémence de Titus and, in 2021, the title role in Messager's Véronique. Martin Barigault began his vocal studies with Fabrice Maurin at the Conservatoire de La Rochelle, which he continued in Tours, where he obtained a singing prize and a degree in musicology. In 2023, he won a singing prize at the Centre de musique baroque de Versailles. During his studies, he sang under the direction of Emmanuelle Haïm and Hervé Niquet. He took his first steps as a soloist with the Polymnie ensemble. Fabrice Maurin: Passionate about singing pedagogy, Fabrice Maurin teaches at the Conservatoire de La Rochelle. This teaching activity has enabled him to see some of his pupils enter the Centre de Musique Baroque de Versailles, the Conservatoire de Paris and leading schools abroad. After initiating the Acade?mie vocale en Vende?e romane, he now devotes most of his time to directing the vocal ensemble Polymnie, which he founded. Fabrice Maurin is regularly called upon for oratorio solos, and sings under the direction of Alain Altinoglu, Paul Colléaux, Patrick Davin, Valérie Fayet, Jean-Yves Gaudin, Sigiswald Kuijken, Michel Piquemal, Hugo Reyne? The Polymnie Vocal Ensemble was founded in 2008 by a core group of professional artists, conservatory students and amateur singers, all driven by the same high standards and enthusiasm. Anchored in the Vendée and neighboring departments, Polymnie is a showcase for the achievements of young professional singers. Its repertoire ranges from early music to contemporary creations. The musical quality of its productions and the relevance of its educational activities have made Polymnie a key player in the local performing arts scene. The ensemble has been in residence in Vouvant with the Orgue & Musique à Vouvant association since the organ was built in 2021. *************************** Price: 15 ? Under 20s: 10 ?
