Her French father is a pianist and composer, her Finnish mother is a cellist with the Orchestre National de Montpellier, and her grandfather, Leif Segerstam, is one of Finland?s great conductors and composers. After taking up the cello, she discovered singing at Opéra Junior de Montpellier. While there, she took part in a number of stage productions at the Opéra Comédie. She played the lead role in Respighi's Sleeping Beauty. In 2018, Elsa Sirodeau entered the Montpellier Conservatoire to study singing with Léa Pasquel and Anne Lise Dodelier. Since 2022, she has been studying Baroque singing at the Toulouse Conservatoire with Salomé Haller and Jérome Correas. Elsa Sirodeau takes part in master-classes with Jeanne Piland, Christophe Larrieu and François Le Roux, and in 2022, she took part in the ALTO Lyric Academy in residence in Vouvant. Virgile Monin: After studying organ with Michel Bourcier at the Conservatoire de Nantes, Virgile Monin won First Prize at the Luxembourg International Organ Competition and the Grand Prix de l'Académie des Beaux-arts. His varied repertoire tends to favor the symphonic organ, for which he makes numerous transcriptions of orchestral works. He collaborates on original projects: Jean Guillou's Symphonie initiatique pour deux organistes with Yves Castagnet at Notre-Dame de Paris, Bach's Goldberg Variations with dancer Maxime Collodel? For the Fy/Solstice label, he records the works of Henri Mulet at La Dalbade in Toulouse. Virgile Monin has been in residence at the Vouvant organ since the instrument was installed in 2021. He performs as part of the organ festival and mini-concerts for families at the Christmas market. In 2023, he recorded the CD Après un rêve on the Vouvant organ. While living in Toulouse, Virgile Monin teaches organ at the Tarbes-Lourdes-Pyrénées conservatory. *************************** Price: 10 ? / Support price: 15 ?
