Asfeld - Village Fleuri "2 fleurs"

Year of obtaining the 1st Flower : 2011Asfeld is a village of about 1000 inhabitants, called the asfeldois.The Aisne is the main river that crosses the town.The village is located 24km from Reims (Marne) and 68km from Charleville-Mézières.It depends on the Community of Communes of the Pays rethélois.To see by the way: Saint Didier church, classified as a historical monument. The only baroque church in the Ardennes, built in 1683 in the shape of a viola da gamba, in brick, with a rotunda and peristyle. Architect: François Romain, a Dominican. Chapel of Notre Dame de la Pitié, it contains a pièta of 1604.
