TOURBIÈRE DE LA TRANCHÉE DE DOCELLES

Created around the peat bog of the Tranchée de Docelles, this 2.2 km educational trail is called "Sur les traces du Nacré", in reference to the Nacré de la Canneberge, a rare butterfly that the luckiest ones will perhaps have the privilege of seeing on their way. This trail is an invitation to travel and is accompanied by educational tools available to visitors: A welcome panel and four desks in the form of open books are installed along the route. They are based on four themes: "Along the water", "Welcome to the peat bog", "Life in the forest" and "The forest and the people", helping the visitor to understand the richness of the site through sensory discoveries.
