Domaine Roux

After alternating between jobs in agriculture and long trips to quench my thirst for adventure, I settled in 1986 next to my family's farm in the Centre region. I produced cereals while having a small flock of sheep. A few years later, I diversified with a friend into the production of self-picking strawberries. In 1994, with the efficient support of my wife, we started to make wine in the vineyard of Quincy. Our first vintage 1995 was rewarded by a silver medal in Mâcon and a second one in Blaye. After 7.5 hectares in AOC Quincy and 3.3 in Châteaumeillant, it is today Albin, their son, who manages the estate, also supported by his wife.
