Circuit de la grotte

1 - From the square of Saint-Pierre-le-Vieux, turn left on the D 45. About 200 m further on, turn left and cross the bridge over the Grosne. At the cemetery, turn right on a road for about 300 m and turn right on a grassy path leading to Ecussols. 2 - Cross the communal road and go up towards Nuirie / Champ Butin. At an electric post, turn slightly to the right and continue on a rocky path to the place called la Nuirie. Continue to the left on a balcony path. Cross a road and take the path that leads to the cave along the meadows. 3 - To the right, go up on a stony path lined with boxwoods until you reach a road that you take on the left. Take the first path on the right through the fir trees and the wood. At the intersection of the Argaud path, turn left and continue in the shady forest. 4 - The itinerary goes down through the Almont forest on a steep and stony path and reaches an intersection at 800 m. 5 - Turn right onto a flat path. At the end of the wood, there are beautiful views over the meadows. Cross the D 211, reach the hamlet of Almont, and continue on the path on the left below the farm. Cross the D 45 to reach Les Ramondys. Take the path on the right towards Les Rescilles. Before the houses, turn left. Cross the bridge over the Grosne. Go up for 150 m and turn left to join the hamlet of la Cour, then the hamlet of Dardy by a tarred track. 6 - Follow the asphalt road that goes up to the cross of Augoyats. Turn left on the path for a quick descent to a footbridge over the Grosne, then cross a stream and go up to the D 45. Turn left and then right in the direction of La Farge. 7 - In the hamlet, turn right to go down to Saint-Pierre-le-Vieux, facing the bell tower. Cross the village and find the start.
