La Mère Boitier

Departure in front of the castle of Tramayes (place du Champ de Foire). Go down by the D 22 and turn right towards Carillon and Champvent (view on the Valouzin valley). Reach the last houses of the hamlet Leave the road for the grassy path that goes up to the D 45; cross it and join the road to Mère Boitier. After 150 m, turn right onto the Trailles path which leads to the parking lot. Reach the summit (orientation table). Go back down and take the road going down in the undergrowth. At the crossroads, turn right towards La Fougère on the wide gravel road. Before this hamlet, turn left to the D 45. Go up the D45 for about 100 meters until the parking lot; there, take a dirt road on the right that goes up in a pine wood, then goes down to the pastures. Go down to the right in the valley, turn left and reach the Chanale (cross of J.B. Duport). At this cross, turn right onto the road, then onto the path that leads to Bourgogne. Continue on the opposite side of the road for about 300 m. Turn right on a grassy path, then follow the D 22 to the right until the village of Saint-Point. Opposite the path that leads to the church and the castle, turn left towards Chagny. In the hamlet, go up to the left on the path towards the upper part of the campsite; cross it to the lake. Walk along the lake past a refreshment stand, then turn right to Mont. Before the last houses, turn right onto a grassy path until you reach a crossroads. Take the right path up to Bernachon. Continue along the road until you reach a fork in the road; turn left to reach the Berthier cross. Turn left (path GR ® 76). The itinerary winds between woods and meadows until the D 213 ; follow it for 100 m on the left. Take on the right the path that leads to the Combe au Ciel. Go down to Les Ardillats, then turn left towards Tramayes.
