A lecturer, who doesn't really know her subject very well, gives a talk on snails, and in the course of her observations on the strange habits of these amazing gastropods, ends up falling in love? with a snail? Only history will tell? In this poetic, musical show, director Sarah Le Picard and illustrator Chloé Perarnau imagine a world at the height of a mollusk, in which the garden becomes an immense forest of magic and mystery. A garden populated by music, where the elves of Mendelssohn?s A Midsummer Night?s Dream, the dancing legs of Roussel?s Spider?s Feast and the fairy tales of Ravel?s Ma mère l?Oye meet, as well as the less-anticipated Prokofiev, Mahler and Rossini. All in all, a garden where you can move from one discovery to the next, while having fun chasing a snail that might have a chance of losing you?
