Romuald Marécaux was born on September 13, 1953 in Wambrechies, near Lille, France. A self-taught artist, I discovered my passion for painting in 1973. The Cassel studio is a bit like his research laboratory, where you have to progress, innovate and discover. At present, Romuald is experimenting with mixed techniques, adapting them to the cubist trend and adding his own personal touch. His studio is open from November to February by appointment, and every Sunday and public holiday from March to October, from 2.30pm to 7pm (by appointment on other days)
