Les Jeudis : Guinguette à l'Ecomusée de Cuzals, Kazbak

Date:

Summer music! A guinguette invites you to the Cuzals Ecomuseum for a convivial evening of music. Enjoy a musical program at the start of the evening, featuring popular music from around the world, and sounds made for dancing and singing along!

august 3, 6-9pm: Kazbak Kazbak is a project from Toulouse?s jazz and contemporary music scene. It's a meeting of Eastern European, electro and hip-hop music between double bass, drums and clarinet. In this formation, the musicians of Kazbak use a traditional heritage to carry us away into a frenetic, fairy-tale musical universe, with electro, hip-hop and rock sounds? Largely influenced by the encounter with the great clarinettist David Krakauer in 2015, the trio?s repertoire knows no boundaries: groove, hip-hop and waltz will enter your ears and take you to the far-flung lands of Transylvania, Bulgaria and Turkey to make you dance, jump, shiver and waltz? august 10 6-9pm: Swing Forty six Created in early 2023 by two gypsy jazz enthusiasts, the Lot-based group "Swing Forty Six" is a guitar duo offering covers and arrangements of gypsy jazz standards. In dialogue, the two performers get the audience dancing, alternating waltzes, steady tempos, medium swings, ballads... A humbling tribute to the rich cultural heritage of swing, jazz, gens du voyage and musette! august 17, 6pm to 9pm: Kürdan Project august 24 18h to 21h: Mama Godillot Mama Godillot is the sweetness and character of a voice with Sicilian accents, the bewitching melodies of a guitarist and the impetuous rhythms of a percussionist without frontiers? A trunk full of sunshine, African trance and island sweetness. Brazil, Angola, Cape Verde, Reunion? We hop along to Cuba, and dance our socks off to a Sicilian waltz. It doesn't even hurt your feet! Valeria Vitrano: vocals, percussion / Didier Delluc: percussion, backing vocals / Benoit Alves: guitar, percussion, backing vocals august 31 6-9pm: La Soubirane A polyphonic trio from Quercy, with tribal and Mediterranean influences, La Soubirane sings with ardor and depth, to the sound of drums. The sound is archaic, melodious and ethereal, with an accuracy and authenticity that thrills us to the core. They also pass on the repertoire of these traditional polyphonic songs through workshops. Light catering on site at the Bistrot de Cuzals, featuring delicious local produce.
