Pays d'Art et d'Histoire : Journée hommage Nino Ferrer

Date:

Come and share a day of encounters with Nino Ferrer. This artist stayed at the Château de Blanat in Saint-Michel de Bannières in the late 70s. This interlude from the world of music was the occasion for the songwriter to release the album Blanat. He chose this isolated spot to explore new musical currents. On the program for the day: - 9:30 am: Walk around the village and château of Blanat, with musical interludes selected by Olivier Laprévôte - 11:30am: Inauguration of the Nino Ferrer plaque - 12:30 pm: Packed lunch - 2pm: Guided tour by Anne-Marie Pêcheur on the history of Château de Blanat (exterior and first floor). Built in the 15th and 16th centuries, this château belonged to the lords of Blanat, co-lords of Saint-Michel. In 1573, Guinot de Blanat and Gabrilelle de Rihac were murdered here! A complicated trial in which the Bailli d'Auvergne, Gabrielle's father, plays a strange role? - 3:30 pm: concerts by the "Les galets d?or" choir and the "Agua e Vinho" duo Organized by the commune of Saint-Michel de Bannières, in partnership with the Cauvaldor cultural department, the Pays d?Art et d?Histoire Causses et Vallée de la Dordogne, the Saint-Michel Passion association and the Maryse Cellier walking group.
