Reading Nights at Saint Michel de Bannières. Many of you have already made New Year?s resolutions. Why not get back to reading novels, poetry, comics or daily newspapers? The volunteers at the Saint Michel de Bannières library have taken those who are ready to put more books into their lives at their word, and on January 20, from 5 to 7 pm, in the town hall, they are offering multi-voice readings of texts varying in form and length, with a single theme: the body in all its senses and in all its states. This project is accompanied by Perrine Cabrit, CAUVALDOR's roving librarian. This free event is part of the Nuits de la lecture (Reading Nights) program taking place across France. And as we're in January, tradition dictates, this event will be an opportunity to share a galette des rois and a verre de l'amitié, courtesy of the municipality. It would be wise to reserve your share of the galette and your seat by calling 06 33 12 26 11. The library is open on Wednesdays from 4pm to 6pm and on Saturdays from 10am to 12pm. Registration and book loans are free.
