In the heart of a small village in the Hauts-de-France region, at the foot of a listed church and on the Francigena pilgrimage route, Rocquigny (62450) is home to a gîte and wellness area opening on August 22, 2022. The gîte can accommodate 2 to 4 people. The wellness area is independent. You'll find a Finnish sauna and spa that run on wood fires all year round. Renting the gîte allows you to use the wellness area privately. Parking is available next to the gîte and terrace. Lawrence or Ingrid will bring you a hot French breakfast every morning. The 3,000 m2 fully fenced grounds are perfect for relaxing with your partner or family. The presence of animals (goats, chickens, roosters, ducks, rabbits, fish, cats... and our little dog) will add to the liveliness of your rural surroundings. You can enjoy the effects of the sun, stretched out on wooden deckchairs, your feet in fine sand in an enclosure that lets you hear the waterfall in the garden and the sight of fish in the expanse of water surrounded by plants and pebbles. There's also a swing and a few games to keep your children entertained. The whole property respects the mix of greenery, woods and flowers, as well as the presence of fruit trees. Shops and freeway access are less than 10 kms away. You can visit the English cemeteries, stroll through towns like Arras, eat some sweets in Cambrai, 35 minutes away.
