Festival Farm & Village #8

A festival dedicated to American roots music, whether black (blues), white (bluegrass & old-time) or a bit of both (folk), English-speaking or not (Cajun), with a rural angle and a preference for the 30's to 50's, but also featuring bands who do a modern reinterpretation in so-called "country-punk" or "punk-blues" styles. In addition to the nine concerts and DJ sets, the festival assumes its village feel with a craft market, barbershop, old car and tractor gathering, cigar'box makers and, of course, record shops. And as this music must remain alive, and is never better transmitted than "live", before, after and between concerts, it's Jam Sessions!
