Feu d'artifice du 14 juillet à Pornic

This spectacular event is a summer staple, attracting locals and visitors from all walks of life. The festivities begin earlier in the day with the traditional Fête de la moule organized by the Rugby Club Pornicais and Pornic Basket St Michel, followed by a ball starting at 6pm. The show is fired from the foot of the Château de Pornic at around 11pm, offering a breathtaking view over the landscapes of the Côte de Jade. The fireworks display is made up of several colorful and musical tableaux, lasting around 30 minutes. 4 spots to enjoy the show away from the crowds If you'd like to admire the fireworks without being too bothered by the crowds, here are a few suggested spots: the Corniche de Gourmalon, ideally located opposite the Château the Pointe de la Noëveillard, to the north-west of the town, with its view over the Bay of Bourgneuf the Passage du Rocher, in the upper town from the sea aboard the Evasion 3, which is organizing a special outing for the occasion. Here are our tips for organizing your visit to Pornic: plan to arrive early, as the most popular places fill up quickly travel on foot, by bike or with the free summer shuttle. If you're coming from Nantes and plan to extend your stay, consider taking the train... the station is ideally located opposite the old port and the Chateau if you're coming by car, be sure to check the traffic regulations beforehand, as well as the parking spaces available (see bottom of this page - online soon) bring a blanket or folding chairs to make yourself comfortable if you're bringing children, remember to equip them with noise-cancelling headphones.
