The Brunet family welcomes you to its 17-hectare estate in the Petite Cité de Caractère of Puy-Notre-Dame, a renowned wine-growing commune on the borders of Anjou and Poitou. Step back in time with a stay at Gîte Le Refuge de Chavannes, a fully renovated and elegantly decorated 4-room apartment designed with your comfort in mind. It is located on the 1st floor of an old Logis built in the 15th century, the only vestige of the medieval Château de Chavannes that once stood on the site of the Domaine. The apartment has 3 bedrooms: a master suite with bathroom, toilet and closet, and 2 bedrooms with double or twin beds, bathroom and toilet. The fully-equipped kitchen and living room overlook the Domaine's courtyard. All rooms have air-conditioning/heating. Billiards room shared by the 2 gîtes. Garden furniture is available in the Domaine's courtyard. Please note: there is a second adjacent apartment for 4 people. The lodgings can be rented individually or together, for a total capacity of 10 people. Saumur Puy-Notre-Dame is the latest AOC from the Saumur region. As part of your stay, we offer a visit (vineyard tour, visit to the winery, troglodyte cellars) and wine tasting of the Domaine's wines.
