An exhibition of works by Sylvie Perrot, a watercolor painter with a passion for art history, she has created representations of ideal cities, including a series in homage to the poet.
From Richelieu to Udaïpur, to Rome via Sabionetta, my dreams of Ideal Cities. Back at my anchorage point, continuing the journey, the dream on the spot animates the brushes, makes the colors vibrate. The carnal transparency of watercolor, exceptional cotton papers (Arche, Fabriano, 640 or 850gr, formats up to 105x75), thick linen thrown over the work table. The inks too, the light, sometimes the music. The mingled scents of materials and pigments. Before the first stroke, I'm already in a meditative, altered state of consciousness, for long hours of dialogue with the beautiful order of what's about to be born. Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday 3pm to 7pm (times may vary according to exhibitions)
