Le Moulin Blot à cheval

This trail, signposted with mountain bike no. 201, can also be enjoyed on horseback or with any other equidae. It lends itself perfectly to horse-drawn carriages. The trails are very good, with plenty of difference in altitude and beautiful views to discover.

The parking lot at the foot of the Bouhy water tower will be the starting point for the vans. (D/A) Head towards the village center. (1) Leave the Entrains road and follow the church on the left. Pass the cemetery on your right and head downhill. (2) When you reach the first house in Dampierre-sous-Bouhy, turn right into a hairpin bend to go up to Bois Pille. Leave the side paths. (3) At the road, turn right, then left at the next junction to reach a new crossroads. (4) Turn left and immediately take the path on the right. Leave the side paths and reach the D14. (5) Carefully cross this road to take the path opposite (Chemin de Jules César). At a cross on the right, intersect a transverse path. (6) Turn right and pass a hedge bordering a cross-country track. (7) Opposite the hedge, turn right and follow the path up to Moulin Blot and the orientation table. Cautiously cross the D957, take the parallel Voie Verte and climb for a further hundred metres. (8) Turn left into a hairpin bend, and you'll find yourself on the path that originally followed this route. The descent, passing a watering place on the right, leads to a tarmac road. (9) Take a left-right turn onto a paved track. After a period of rain, a stream may cross this path. (10) Take a sharp right and go straight up this well-marked limestone path. (11) Bend slightly to the right and soon reach a tarmac track. (12) Turn right to the next bend. (13) At the crow's-foot, take the right-hand path back to the parking area (D/A).
