BATEAU ECOLE - LE MINAHOUET PNEU-NAUTIC

Traditional or personalized courses, exams in Saint Nazaire or Nantes, all year long. What is it used for? It allows you to pilot any motorised pleasure boat by day or night, up to 6 nautical miles from a shelter, from the age of 16. How to obtain it ? Theoretical test in the form of a 30 minute slide show with 30 multiple choice questions. 25 correct answers are necessary to validate your exam. Practical lessons on the training boat of 3h30 minimum (1h30 collective and 2h of driving per person) according to the program defined in the "candidate's booklet" which will validate your practical skills. Training : Theory: 6 to 7 hours on buoyage at sea, regulations to prevent collisions at sea (priorities), ship marks, port signals, sound signals, boat safety, night lights on ships and beacons, fog signals, fuel autonomy, weather and map reading, use of a VHF... Practical: 3h30 (depending on your availability) during which you will learn how to hold a course, make a landing, recover a man overboard, know the safety rules, follow a determined route, use the different instruments on board: VHF, GPS...
