The Church of Saint Symphorien offers a magical panorama of the Loire and its valley. Located near the Loire à Vélo circuit and 20 minutes from Angers, it is part of the Eglises accueillantes des Mauges programme.
ATTENTION: Access to the church is limited to the central interior. Built on the site of the former château burnt down by the Republicans in 1793, Saint-Symphorien church was inaugurated in 1864. As part of the "Welcoming Churches" program in the Mauges region, an information leaflet gives visitors an insight into the history of this neo-Gothic building.
