In homage to the famous writer Julien Gracq born in Saint Florent le Vieil, walk along the river on a sandy path: the Promenade Julien Gracq. A pleasant stroll punctuated with extracts from the writer's writings. Do not hesitate to stop on a bench to admire the royal river from Saint Florent le Viel The walk is 2 kilometres long from the village of Saint Florent le Vieil to the sanctuary of Notre Dame du Marillais, at the mouth of the Evre. This route is also part of the Loire à Vélo itinerary and the GR3.
