SENTIER DES LUTHIERS ET DENTELLIÈRES

This semi-urban / semi-rural route will make you discover the heritage assets of the area, its surprising passages, its varied landscapes and its remarkable viewpoints. A variant will allow you to shorten the route at the height of Mazirot. To discover the college - gardens - old well of Poussay - viewpoints... Starting point: Place Thierry Leaving Thierry Square from the south. Take the rue du Neuf-Moulin to the crossroads with the rue Bonn-Beul. Opposite, take a path that runs along the old canal. Follow the chemin de Miraucourt up to a road (D266); cross it and take the path opposite. Further on, go under an SNCF bridge and then take a road near the Joly farm (INRA). Go to the right. At the top, turn left on a very small path through the hedges. This leads to a dead end that you take. At the crossroads, continue straight ahead in the rue Claude Gelée. At the end, continue up Rue Maurice-Barrès. Turn left into rue Porterat (hidden among the gardens, the Monday houses, a meeting place for violin makers to feast), then right into rue Paul-Hilaire. Turn right again in front of the water tower to join the rue de Balivi, which you take on the right. Continue along rue Emile-Ouchard. At the level of the buried tanks, take a path on the left. At the bottom, turn right and then left to pass under the railway track. Continue along the path before turning left into the rue des Vignes to join the D166, cross the road with caution under the SNCF viaduct. Turn right on the first road (chemin Marchand). Cross the stream Val d'Arol and turn right towards the "Clos des Jards" in Poussay. At the end, go up to the left up the allée des Marronniers, then turn right after the cemetery. Continue in the dead end in front of the town hall, then place du Vieux Puits. Go down the village and turn right in front of the Saint Maurice church. Continue the descent by a staircase. At the bottom, turn right to join the D413, take it on the right, then cross. Turn left, pass under the SNCF bridge to continue on a path towards the footbridge over the Madon, then Mazirot. Before the village, turn right. At the Calvary, take the road opposite, called "La Haie des Putains". At the Roman road, turn right and go down in front of the pumping station. Cross the Talencourt stream. Pass under the bridge of the Mirecourt bypass road. Take the first road on the right. At the top, follow the D166. Take the D10b on the left for about 250m. Turn right onto a narrow path leading to the quai Lebreuil.
