CIRCUIT LE CROCHEMONT XT N°11

Thanks to the French Federation of Hiking and to Xertigny en transition for the realization of this hike and the work done by its teams throughout the year to mark out and maintain these paths. Markings: yellow rectangle n°11 A short 4km walk in the heart of the network of 15 footpaths, this is a small pleasure circuit through a countryside with varied landscapes. Possibility to park in front of Amerey's school and take the trail in either direction. This rather short path is a nice opportunity to visit this small village whose heritage contains some treasures : the oldest farm of the village, some fountains and a set of narrow streets interesting to walk along because the main street which crosses the village today did not exist in the past. Those who wish to do so can extend the route to pay a short visit to the butcher's cross a few hundred metres from the main route.
