CIRCUIT LE HAZOT XT N°8

Thanks to the French Federation of Hiking and to Xertigny en transition for the realization of this hike and the work done by its teams throughout the year to mark out and maintain these paths. Markings: yellow rectangle n°8 This circuit, half of which is divided between forest areas and crops, offers a wide variety of views of both the natural elements and the marks left by man over time. Park at the Woodies car park on rue de la Vallée de l'Aître. The circuit can be walked in both directions following the 08 signposting. This route cuts the Epinal Belfort railway line in two places. It passes under the Moulin Maurt Viaduct and offers a pretty view of Xertigny at the finish line in an anti-clockwise direction. The site of Les Woodies is a nice place for a holiday by the water, it was designed by the country of Epinal and the municipality of Xertigny to enhance the possibilities of using beech wood in construction.
