The family-run mill at Basse-Parthe is relaunching its business, which has been on hiatus for 30 years. A new stone mill, made in France by craftsmen, has been installed. Stone milling preserves the nutritional qualities of cereals: all the elements of the wheat kernels are unrolled between the stone millstones, without heating. The husk and germ of the wheat kernel, present in all our flours, are rich in vitamins and minerals, and the organic wheat comes from Lorraine. Flour is therefore an authentic reflection of the wheat grain. The mill sells its flour to local retailers.
