With more than 12,000 species in cultivation, the Jean-Marie Pelt Botanical Garden is a veritable museum of plants that bears witness to the extraordinary richness of the plant world. Initiated in 1975 in the southwest of Nancy, it has become one of the most important botanical facilities in France. In the heart of the 35-hectare hilly park, the various collections offer numerous themes of discovery and wonder, from the common plants of our gardens to species from the most distant lands (alpinum, arboretum, rose garden, medicinal plants, historical and systematic collections, etc.). In the tropical greenhouses of 2,500 m², the exuberant vegetation offers a permanent change of scenery. A simple visit is quickly transformed into a real explorer's journey. A new visitor's application allows you to discover the Botanical Garden in a fun and innovative way by combining games, videos and augmented reality around 4 routes (adults and children). It can be downloaded for free on your smartphone or available on tablets for rent at the garden reception. Several specialized collections (Araceae, Orchidaceae, succulents, insectivorous and myrmecophilous plants, Bromeliads...) are recognized for their importance and richness by the international scientific community. Free access to the garden - access to the tropical greenhouses at a charge
