LA MACHINERIE ESCAPE GAME

"La Machinerie" is a historical escape game, it?s a new leisure activity that opened its doors on June 9, 2021 in Plombières-les-Bains in the Vosges. The escape game concept: a team of 2 to 5 people is locked in a room and has to solve riddles, find clues, discover secret caches to get out in less than an hour. The first scenario is called "The Emperor?s Secrets", imagined and designed by the BARON family. It is a real immersion in the heart of the Second Empire (second half of the 19th century), with furniture and decor inspired by the period. Players must complete the mission to find and steal the Treaty of Alliance signed between France and Italy. In addition to the escape game room, La Machinerie also offers an urban treasure hunt. Divided into two teams for a race, or simply for a stroll around the historic center, the treasure hunt takes players to the most emblematic places in Plombières-les-Bains, using QR codes. The name "La Machinerie" refers to the industrial revolution, but also to Napoleon III?s passion for the innovations of the time (telegraph, steam locomotive), not to mention the famous steamboat by American engineer Fulton, tested on the Augronne.
