Access: from the center of Etival-Clairefontaine, drive past the abbey, then straight on to the La Valdange bridge, take the first right and continue for about 800 meters. You can park on the left at the sign for "forêt domaniale de la Côte de Répy". Follow the Club Vosgien path to the rock. The Pierre d'Appel is known both as a historic site and a climbing spot, where you can practice cliff or boulder climbing. On the cliff, the rock is equipped with its own routes. Some of the routes can be climbed from above. The belays are not chained. 10 to 25 accessible routes, spread over several rocks, maximum height: 18 meters. Sandstone rock with slabs, slopes and overhangs. The foot of the routes is uneven and not recommended for young children. Climbers and insurers, be vigilant!
