Stéphanie Briot is a music therapist, singer, prenatal singing facilitator and musical facilitator for a variety of audiences. She runs sessions in libraries, nurseries and schools, and provides training for early childhood professionals. What drives her in working with children is her curiosity, her appetite to discover, to listen! As if in a small sound laboratory, Stéphanie invites children to sing along, play with words, seek out and tickle sounds, and discover the pleasure of musical play. Through the albums she sets to voice and music, and the instruments she willingly lends them, children move from listening to sensory discovery. This year for Premières Pages, Stéphanie will be taking children on a journey of stories, music and song, based on her new Kamishibaï creation. Imagine a small hamlet in the middle of the countryside? Every day: the same story, down to the last detail? Until the day Mady, a mischievous little mouse, upsets the routine...
