LA LOIRE À VÉLO DES SCULPTURES

In Mauges-sur-Loire, between Angers and Nantes, the route of the Loire à Vélo des Sculptures has some surprises in store for you... As you cycle along the river, you will come face to face with multiple animal species and other varied forms forming an open-air gallery. About forty monumental sculptures (and some painted frescoes) accompany your ride on about 17km and invite you to moments of contemplation by calling upon your imagination and your interpretation These sculptures, from the annual symposium of monumental sculptures of Montjean-sur-Loire (for more than 25 years!), are created in front of the eyes of the passers-by on the banks and are exposed thereafter in the public space.
