A varied and more hilly circuit of medium difficulty to discover the castle heritage of the surroundings by taking the most beautiful forest roads of the sector From the centre of the village of Lutzelbourg, take the Rd98a in the direction of Hultehouse and make the detour to discover the castle of Lutzelbourg. Continue towards Hultehouse, cross the village by the "rue de la côte" and then the "rue de Stambach" which becomes the forest road of the same name. Continue for about 5 km until you reach the valley at the place called Stambach. Cross the road and join the towpath via a small stony path and the small bridge over the river Zorn. Continue to Saverne by the cycle track along the canal. In Saverne, walk around the Rohan castle and then take the rue du Haut-Barr to start the ascent to the castle of the same name. After a stop at the castle, continue along the forest road from Saverne to Billebaum for 5.5 km. At the crossroads of the Billebaum continue in the direction of the Haberacker forest house and then take the Loeffelthal forest road to the valley floor. Then follow the river Baerenbach in the valley bottom to Stambach. In Stambach, follow the cycle path in the opposite direction to Lutzelbourg and follow the canal to the starting point.
