ESCAPADE VÉLO DANS LA VALLÉE DES ÉCLUSIERS PAR LE BODENMARK

An accessible and safe circuit which mixes forest portions on wide tracks and a passage by the beautiful green way of the Valley of the Lockers on the return. From the centre of the village of Lutzelbourg, take the towpath in the direction of the Plan Incliné, then after a few dozen metres, fork right via the rue de la Grotte. A left hairpin turn will lead you by a rather steep rise to the cave of Lourdes from where a beautiful sight on the village is offered to you. You then walk through the forest on a wide, sandy forest road for about 1,300 metres before reaching the Bodenmark forest road. Follow the Bodenmark forest road for about 3 km until you reach the forest house, then take the forest road that continues on the right until you reach the entrance to the village of Henridorff. Then turn left towards the stadium to join the forest road that will lead you after 2.5 km to Port-Ste-Marie in the Vallée des Eclusiers. Go down the Vallée des Eclusiers on the greenway of the same name before reaching Lutzelbourg via the towpath of the Marne-Rhine canal.
