ESCAPADE VÉLO AU PLAN INCLINÉ PAR LA VALLÉE DES ÉCLUSIERS

Easy level itinerary to be planned on a half-day. This circuit will allow you to discover the nuggets of the river heritage of the Phalsbourg area. An accessible and varied route offering multiple possibilities of discovery. From the center of the village of Lutzelbourg, take the towpath in the direction of the Inclined Plan for 3 km, then go up the beautiful Vallée des Éclusiers, an old ladder of 17 locks 3.8 km long. Leave the greenway and take the departmental road 98 in the direction of the village of Arzviller. Once in the village, turn left on the RD97B in the direction of Saint-Louis. Cross the village of Saint-Louis then begin the descent in direction of the Inclined Plan. At the crossroads between the RD97B and the RD98C, cross the parking lot and the Lehrer crystal factory, follow the small path that will lead you to the downstream basin at the foot of the Plan Incliné. From there, follow the towpath on the right side in the direction of Lutzelbourg.
