CIRCUIT VÉLO DES 3 VALLÉES (GRAND)

A beautiful touring loop from valley to valley towards the Sarrebourg area (long version). Difficult level for this itinerary, plan a full day. From the centre of the village of Lutzelbourg, follow the towpath and the route of the cycle route 52 and the Eurovéloroute n°5 towards the Vallée des Eclusiers. The route alternates between greenways and small roads until the village of Hesse. In Hesse, take the greenway of the Saar Valley to Abreschviller and then the Rd96 to Eigenthal and the Col Saint-Léon before descending to Walscheid. Then continue towards the Stossberg via Vallerysthal. Then follow the Rd45 to Guntzviller and Arzviller via the Rd97. Continue towards Saint-Louis. Go through the village of Saint-Louis then start the descent towards the Plan Incliné. Arrived at the crossroads between RD97B and RD98C, cross the car park and the ground of the crystal factory Lehrer, follow the small path which will lead you to the level of the downstream basin at the foot of the Inclined Plan. From there, follow the towpath on the right-hand side in the direction of Lutzelbourg.
