ESCAPADE VÉLO À DABO

Medium level circuit, to be planned for a half-day or a day. A beautiful "mountain" outing that will make you gain altitude with the superb panorama offered by the Rocher de Dabo as a reward. From the centre of the village of Lutzelbourg, take the towpath for 4 km to the foot of the Inclined Plan. Go towards the Lehrer crystal factory and cross the car park. Join the Rd98c, cross Sparsbrod and then take the direction Haselbourg via the Rd98d. A long climb starts to the village of Haselbourg where you can walk around the village, an old Roman oppidum. Continue via Hellert then La Hoube (highest village in Moselle) before joining the Rd45 towards Dabo and its famous rock. Climb up to the Rocher de Dabo and then go down and through the village. Join the bottom of the valley via Schaeferhof then follow the Rd98c to the Plan Incliné from where you return to Lutzelbourg by following the towpath.
